Legal English Intensive Day [LEID] provides participants with a concentrated training aimed at understanding as many English legal terms and fundamental legal concepts in a given area of law as possible, while focusing on some its particularly important aspects.
Session one of the Company law LEID deals with the topic of company formation, covering issues like personal liability, company formation procedure, and even the controversial topic of conflict of interest.
Session two is dedicated to shares, defining concepts of authorised share capital and issued share capital, types of shares, share consolidation and subdivision, etc. Much emphasis is given to the topic of rights issue.
In the closing session, the participants are introduced with concepts like mergers, acquisitions, consolidations, sale of substantially all assets, voluntary liquidation and compulsory winding-up.

Legal English Intensive Day [LEID] is a special Lyceum iuris Legal English programme suitable for legal practitioners (attorneys, legal advisers, litigants, counsellors) with English being their second language, having or being interested in furthering their international legal practice, as well as GPs, in-house counsels and other personnel of major international corporations’ legal departments.
On LEID you will work with other international lawyers and learn how to understand English legal language as it appears in contemporary written and oral contexts. Our Legal English Intensive Day is designed to make you more confident and effective in today’s global legal world.

In 2006 Damir got his University of Cambridge Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) at the London based Regent Language Centre (UK), while in 2009 he earned his law degree from the Belgrade Law Faculty.
After returning from the United Kingdom, Damir has been teaching general English in several language schools, and from 2014 in cooperation with the Novi Sad based Trade Academy’s Law Faculty he has been teaching a two-semester Legal English course.
In 2016 Damir got his Cambridge International Legal English Certificate (summa cum laude). Damir is the head of the Lyceum iuris Professional English department.
In 2013 Marija got her bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and Physiology in Belgrade followed by the master’s degree in Molecular Oncology from Max Planck International Research School in Goettingen, Germany in 2015, where she had been studying and actively publishing her scientific work in English. After returning to Serbia, she graduated at Belgrade Law Faculty. Currently works in a law office in Belgrade. She has been teaching legal English courses since 2016.
